Sta. Ana – a town of Pampanga

Santa Ana - formerly known as “Bale Pinpin” meaning laid aside. It was named after the patron saint St. Anne. Sta. Ana is a primarily farm town, particularly the four (4) Barangays which are San Agustin, Sto. Rosario, San Roque and San Pablo, they are the producers of imported and local rice grains, corn, sugar cane, bananas and different vegetables. The harvested fruits and crops are being supplied to the neighbouring towns in and out of Pampanga. The locals are known to be the maker of “majiganggas” (Huge traditional puppetry used during the town’s Parade). The Sta.
