Bonsai Grafting
In
horticulture,
grafting
is
combining
the
scion
with
the
matured
plant
to
develop
its
fruits
or
flowers
as
well
as
to
improve
the
trunk
system.
Grafting
method
is
also
been
done
to
reduce
the
size
of
the
leaves
which
is
the
purpose of this video.
A
molave
tree
was
used
in
this
video;
a
scion
was
taken
from
a
previously
grafted
plant.
During
the
cutting
of
the
branches
of
the
stock,
leave
at
least
an
inch
of
the
branch
from
the
trunk
where
you
will
attach
the
scion
from
the
previously
grafted
plant.
Using
an
electrical
tape,
instead
of
grafting
tape
is
also possible. A piece of a plastic serves as a green house.
