Ayta Dancers (Zoobic Subic-Bay)
Aeta Traditional Dance Dururo / Lapinding Dance: Dururo is a form of prayer thanking Apo Na Malyari (their supreme being) for their blessings and ask him to continue protect them in their everyday living. They usually followed the Lapinding dance after the prayer. The Lapinding is a joyous thanksgiving dance for the abundant yield of their crops and other celebrations. Dragon Fly Dance: Aytas do mimic on how the dragon fly flew in the meadow to the beat of a rhythmic music. They believe that when there are dragon flies on the field there will be a calamity coming.  During this time, they will start preparing to protect themselves for any disaster. Monkey Dance: Aytas are well-known in imitating the movement of the monkeys. It is one of their traditional dances because they are fond of monkeys in the jungle.  They believe that the monkeys are good warrior because they are agile in action. War Dance: Aytas are choosing their leaders through war dance using a real bow and arrow.  They believe that a good dancer would be a great warrior and becomes a good leader of their tribe.
